We wish to invite you for the 38th Open Faridabad District Badminton Championship 2017.

Its a great opportunity for the players to enhance their skills by playing with the best and upcoming players of the city. An initiative by FDBA to promote Badminton in Faridabad and to be able to give the correct exposure to budding champions of tomorrow. FDBA is dedicated to provide an ideal platform for all athletes to perform at their sporting best. A District competition is the first step a player takes towards his sporting dream, so join us in the celebration of fair play and sportsman spirit.

Under a sprawling arena which is fully air-conditioned, The Faridabad District Badminton Association invites all the badminton athletes to participate in the 38th Open Faridabad District Badminton Championship 2017 at the Manav Rachna Sports Academy, Sector 14, Faridabad from 04th to 8th July 2017. The details of the tournament are attached herewith.

For Boys & Girls:
• - Under 13 (Singles & Doubles): Cut-off Date (On or after 2005 born)
• - Under 15 (Singles & Doubles): Cut-off Date (On or after 2003 born)
• - Under 17 (Singles & Doubles): Cut-off Date (On or after 2001 born)
• - Under 19 (Singles, Doubles & Mixed Doubles): Cut-off Date (On or after 1999 born)
For Men & Women:
• (Singles, Doubles & Mixed Doubles): Cut-off Date (Open)
For Veteran:
• (Singles & Doubles)

Entry Fees:
• INR 300/Event (for Singles)
• INR 600/Event (for Doubles & Mixed Doubles)
Please Note:
• 1. All the matches will be played as per the BAI (Badminton Association of India) Rules & Guidelines.
• 2. Sports shoes with non-marking sole are compulsory for all the matches.
• 3. Registration fees for singles category is Rs. 300/ (per event)- & for Doubles is Rs. 600/- (per event).
• 4. Faridabad District Badminton Association reserves the right to cancel any event due to unavoidable circumstances.
• 5. Decision of the tournament committee of FDBA will be final in all matters connected with the tournament.
• 6. The last date of registration is 02 July 2017 by 05:00 PM. In case the participant fails to register before time, double Fees (INR 600 - Singles & INR 1200 - Doubles) will be charged.
• 7. All participants are requested to gather at the venue on 04th July, 2017, 8:30 AM.
• 8. All the matches will be played with AS2 Shuttles.
• 9. Each participant needs to carry his/her identity and age proof.
• 10. All the participants must carry their FDBA Player ID Card (Issued by FDBA) during the competition. In case the player has not yet issued the ID card please get one made at the Manav Rachna Sports Academy, Sec 14 Faridabad, before the tournament for a sum of INR 100. In case of loss of previous ID a sum of INR 250 will be charged for reissuing.
